CORPORATE BACKGROUNDER

Yosemite Communications is a privately held company in the business of designing and developing wired and wireless embedded systems solutions using industry standard protocols for telecom equipment providers and enterprise customers. Our customers from the telecom industry are using Yosemite's designs with GSM/GPRS/EDGE and GSM/UMTS/HSPDA standards communications modules to securely provide mobility, voice, video and data for outdoor and indoor networks.

   Our team has been consistently delivering differentiation in delivering wireless and wired communications and networking solutions in the industry. Our objective is to consistently deliver high quality and reliable communications solutions for new and existing customers. 

    To achieve this objective, we focus on three key elements: Defining embedded product/module that deliver fully secured and reliable performance anywhere, anytime. Secondly differentiating our capability and expertise to deliver cost-effective and enhanced features and solutions. Thirdly, leveraging over a combined of over 20 years of experience and expertise in communications systems designs, intefaces and networking area to work with the customer through all the stages of designs and implementations.

    We have extensive product designs from prototyping to manufacturing and market experiences with systems deployed by our customers worldwide. Our engineering and outsource manufacturing team are located in California, USA, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bangalore, India.

Management

     Yosemite Communications' founders and management have extensive technology experiences from PointRed Technologies formerly Wireless Dynamics, ITD, Sanar Systems, Sun Microsystems, NEC, Silicon Wireless, NYSE, NCR and HP. 

     Our founders and management team were also founders of PointRed Technologies, formerly Wireless Dynamics, an innovative wireless broadband equipment company with unique and patented "CellularIP" pre-WIMAX technology deployed worldwide for Internet and Voice over IP applications services. The "CellularIP" wireless broadband systems have been deployed by service providers and telcos in all regions of the world including US, Asia, South America and Middle East/Africa.

     Prior to founding PointRed Technologies, the management team founded ITD, Sanar Systems, Inc. in the business of providing Unix and Linux based high availability file servers solutions to service providers in US and Europe. These systems were designed as high availability Sun compatible servers for users in the service provider, utility, semiconductor and financial businesses.
