YOSEMITE INTRODUCES SMARTRANGER DAS, DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING SATELLITE SIGNAL COVERAGES INDOOR AND OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS SUCH AS MULTI-LEVEL DWELLING UNITS, ELEVATOR SHAFTS, SHIPS (MULTI-LEVEL DECKS), REFINERIES AND OTHERS.

April 15th, 2007 - San Jose, California, Yosemite Communications, Inc., Santa Clara, Calif., introduces The SmartRanger DAS (Distributed Antenna System) a highly optimized and economical aggregator system for satellite and wireless service providers. It is a distributed antenna system which enables zero-loss RF output performance in each antenna point. It offers low-output-power and high capacity low noise system that results in superior 
data and voice quality. The remote DAU units are line powered therefore there’s no need to 
power them locally. It’s optimized design enables quick and easy installation and voice as well as data service coverages are enhanced.

With enterprises deploying Satellite, WIMAX, WIFI, Cellular voice, data systems and cable 
infrastructures, wireless service providers are choosing to consolidate a single system to 
function as common path for these traffic. It is to aggregate all access points in 
the same wiring closets as DAS hub and then distribute the satellite signals over the 
same set of distributed antenna system. This approach is a cost-effective way to 
reduce capital expenses, maintenance costs and also technically minimizes cable signals losses.
